Te Wharau Taonga is a small business focused on translating classical Nga Tikanga Toi Maori / Maori Arts Concepts into contemporary technologically inspired expressions using advanced digital technologies. We strive for excellence in the modern craft, working in good faith seeking quality, integrity, and trust in the Mahi we do.
We will always do our best to:
- Represent items accurately.
- Respond to your queries quickly.
- Ship orders (in stock) within 3 days.
- Resolve any issues generously.
As a customer and we ask that you:
- Let us know what you need and if something’s not working for you.
- Respect our Intellectual Property—share photos of our work but please give credit where it’s due.
- Do not attempt to reproduce our designs as we assert our full Intellectual Property rights for all.
Payment terms and conditions
- Online orders: payment in full at time of order through any of our payment providers.
- Commissions: 50% at the time of order, 50% on pick up or prior to shipping.

Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of the order fulfillment process. You won't be added to any marketing lists without your permission. If you wish us to delete any of your information which we may hold, please message your request here and we will comply immediately.
Shipping Policy

We ship all our products using shipping and courier companies operating in New Zealand such as NZ Post, New Zealand Couriers, Fastway, and Post-Haste, and DHL International unless a specialised shipping service is required. All high-value shipments are tracked, insured and require a signature on delivery, low-value shipments may be tracked and insured only. We may not be able to ship to PO or Private Boxes. All shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
Refund Policy

Returns
We have a 7-day return policy. Unfortunately we're unable to offer you a refund or exchange if your purchase was more than 7 days ago. We will only accept returns on items that are faulty or damaged when you receive them.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected by us, we'll send you an email to notify you that we've received your returned item. We'll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process your refund within 7 days, minus any shipping and handling costs, and the credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Return Shipping Policy
To return your product, please make contact here. You will be responsible for paying for all shipping and handling costs to return the item. All shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping and handling will be deducted from your refund.
